| 内容記述 | 本稿の目的は、イップスを発症した野球選手の苦しみを軽減するために、野球選手のイップス研究に向けた課題を明らかにすることである。イップス研究の背景を概観した上で、日本におけるイップス研究の動向と今後の研究課題について、収集した 23 の文献をレビューした。スポーツ全般におけるイップスの定義は、神経学的要因に基づくものと心理学的要因に基づくものがあり、その両方の立場をとる文献が増えてきている。しかし、野球における送球イップスに関する文献は非常に少なく、心理学的研究への偏りが顕著であった。また、送球イップスの経験率については、中学生を対象にした調査しか行われておらず、実態は明らかにされていない。治療法や対処法については様々な提言がなされているが、実証研究が乏しく、多くの治療法の有効性は不明である。今後は、より多くの実態調査を行い、イップスのタイプを分類して治療法や対処法を検証するとともに、神経学的研究、心理学的研究、社会学的研究など様々な視角から研究を行う必要がある。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is to identify issues relating to ‘yips’ as experienced by baseball players, in order to alleviate their suffering. 23 papers on ‘yips’ published in Japan focusing on trends and suggesting future research were reviewed. There are two definitions of ‘yips’ in sports in general: one is based on neurological factors and the other is based on psychological factors, and a growing body of literature takes both positions. However, there is very little literature on throwing ‘yips’ in baseball, and there has been a marked tendency toward psychological viewpoints. Furthermore, surveys on the rate of experiencing ‘yips’ when throwing ‘yips’ have only been conducted among junior high school students, and therefore no overall picture has yet been established. Various suggestions for treatments and coping methods have been made; but there is a lack of empirical research, and the effectiveness of many treatment methods is not yet clarified. Further research is necessary into the phenomenon in general, to classify the types of ‘yips’, and to verify the treatments and coping methods; and this should be conducted from various perspectives such as neurological, psychological, and sociological studies. | |||||||||
